Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install plastic HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) products, including pipes, fittings, and custom parts, based on specifications and blueprints.
• Operate and maintain fabrication equipment, such as extrusion machines, welding equipment, and cutting tools, to shape and weld HDPE materials.
• Measure and cut HDPE sheets, pipes, or panels accurately, ensuring proper fit and alignment for projects.
• Weld HDPE components using specialized fusion techniques, ensuring high-quality, leak-free joints.
• Inspect finished products for quality control, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to materials, machinery, or fabrication techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Keep records of materials used, hours worked, and other necessary project documentation.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding, fabrication, or plastics technology is a plus.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in fabricating or welding HDPE plastic materials.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in using welding equipment, extrusion machines, and fabrication tools for HDPE.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication instructions.
• Familiarity with HDPE welding techniques, such as butt fusion, socket fusion, and electrofusion.
