We are seeking an experienced Retailer Onboarding and Sales Field Specialist to drive
retailers, minimarts, grocery stores, supermarket’s relationships and customer onboarding
and sales operations for SupplyMatch. With 3+ years in the UAE FMCG market and a well established
industry network, This role is pivotal in expanding our retailer base, enhancing
sales and company revenue engagement, and maximizing retailer satisfaction on the
SupplyMatch platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Retailer Onboarding: Onboard retail outlets, including supermarkets, minimarts, and
grocery stores, ensuring comprehensive profile setup and engagement with
SupplyMatch’s features.
Relationship Building: Maintain and enhance relationships with retailers to
encourage platform usage and satisfaction.
Primary Retailer Contact: Act as the main liaison, providing ongoing support for
platform functionality, stock updates, promotions, and account management , taking
sales orders
Promotions and Loyalty Programs: Partner with retailers to organize seasonal
promotions and loyalty programs, working with the marketing team to develop
retailer-specific campaigns.
Sales Target Achievement: Drive engagement by meeting monthly sales targets,
securing orders, and maximizing basket size.
Product Mix Optimization: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the availability
of popular SKUs on the platform, tailored to retailer needs.
Market Insights & Reporting: Collect retailer feedback, analyze market trends, and
report on competitor activity to guide strategic decisions. Provide regular updates on
retailer performance and promotional outcomes.
Skills
1. UAE FMCG Market Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the UAE FMCG market, with a
well-established network across retail outlets, supermarkets, minimarts, grocery
stores, and Mom & Pop stores.
2. Relationship and Sales Skills: Demonstrated experience in onboarding and
customer acquisition with strong relationship-building skills to drive daily repeat
orders from retailers.
3. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in ERP and POS systems, mobile applications for
retailer engagement, and e-commerce platforms. Familiarity with basic
troubleshooting and functionality management is an advantage.
4. Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to
effectively present platform benefits and engage retailers.
5. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and retailer performance metrics to
focus on targeted sales efforts.
6. Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple retailer accounts
and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
7. Product Price Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of product pricing across various
FMCG categories.
8. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
9. Networking and Communication: Proven ability to establish relationships and close
sales with retailers.
10. Sales Expertise across FMCG Categories: Extensive sales experience with hands-on
knowledge of POS systems, mobile applications, and e-commerce platforms across
multiple FMCG categories.
