As we continue to expand our fleet and destinations, we are looking for highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance professionals to join our world-class Etihad Technical Team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, maintaining, and rectifying aircraft defects. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance are maintained.
Our Talent Acquisition and Technical Operations teams will be visiting Nairobi, Kenya in February 2025 to meet potential candidates for future opportunities with Etihad.
Accountabilities
- Sign off on completed tasks, ensuring they are performed in accordance with approved data, as assigned by Certifying Staff.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly, in line with current company procedures.
- Ensure that unused serviceable and unserviceable items, tools, and equipment are returned to stores/workshops in a timely manner, no later than the end of the shift.
- Provide timely support to engineers/technicians with their requirements for ground equipment, spares, and assistance on aircraft.
- Ensure all work performed at Etihad is in strict compliance with safety and quality processes, ensuring the highest standards are met.
- Actively promote a positive safety and reporting culture by adhering to the procedures set out in the Safety & Quality Management Manual (SQMM).
- Participate in the workplace safety program and encourage colleagues to do the same, fostering a collaborative and secure working environment.
Education & Experience
- Must have completed an aviation apprenticeship with an approved airline or organization, or received equivalent formal training.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance.
- Proven experience and capability in line maintenance activities, particularly working independently on arrival/departure procedures on the Ramp. #LI-JA1
