Position Summary:
We are looking for a Sales Engineer with 3+ years of experience in selling machinery, preferably CNC machines, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in CNC systems and a proven ability to drive sales in a competitive market. In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to post-sale support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the CNC machinery sector.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide expert guidance on CNC machine products, features, and applications to help customers choose the best solutions.
- Conduct technical product demonstrations and presentations for clients, both in person and virtually.
- Collaborate with the engineering and technical teams to customize machine solutions based on customer requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with customers to close sales.
- Manage customer inquiries, requests, and post-sales technical support to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand awareness and generate new leads.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role within the machinery or CNC industry.
- Strong technical understanding of CNC machines, their components, and applications in various industries.
- Proven ability to successfully manage the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to both technical and non-technical customers.
- Solid problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for sales and customer success.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
- Experience with CNC programming or hands-on operation of CNC machines.
- Familiarity with CAD software or other technical tools used in the CNC machining industry.
- Bilingual abilities (if applicable to your region).
