Synopsis
In this role as a Manager Airport Agreements, you are accountable for network ground handling agreements limited to scope of service, compliance & performance tracking. Core to this role is the opportunity to drive revenues and reduce cost from ground handling activities, whilst maintaining full compliance with Etihad Airways corporate requirements and delivering all activities with the financial governance framework.
Accountabilities
• Responsible for of implementing measures to align the process, governance and compliance mechanisms covering contract negotiations in line with general Etihad Airways policies.
• Will act as the key interface between Global Airports and the Procurement and Supply Management (P&SM) business areas.
• Responsible for defining the available scope of services in accordance with Etihad and the IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreement framework.
• Evaluate the capability of the Ground Handlers globally ensuring there are no compliance concerns around the delivery of a safe and secure operation.
• Responsible for ensuring that ground handling contracts remain valid, current, legally compliant and operationally deliverable
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
• Develop an approved Standard Ground Handling Agreement (template) and Service Level Agreement suited for stations throughout the network to ensure consistency of services required
• Ensure implementation to achieve Etihad Airways standards, in-line and adherence with corporate governance policy.
Education & Experience
• Minimum Diploma
• Subject matter expert (SME) with proven demonstrable sound knowledge and relevant industry experience of airport operations preferably gained in 5-10 years working experience in a Ground Operations/Contractual role with an airline or ground handling agency.
• Experience/familiarity in the administration of a ground handling agreement and SLA with a supplier, Technical Evaluation and Invoice Management.
• Should have airport operational experience at a management level.
• Ideally in a ground handling contract Management position
