  • Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, and selection processes.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate agreements, and monitor performance for continuous improvement.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and support new product initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements and leverage technology to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Generate and present supplier performance metrics, manage corrective actions, and lead time reduction initiatives.
  • Assist with projects as assigned.


Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of the aluminum industry, including domestic and international markets.
  • Proficiency in commodities and derivative transactions.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year accredited institution.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in a Supply Chain or Procurement role related to aluminum.
  • Background in purchasing within a manufacturing or engineered product environment.
  • Experience with global supply chain initiatives and strategic planning.
