Synopsis
To assist the Senior Manager Line Maintenance International in all Outstation line maintenance functions. This will be done primarily by monitoring and assessing the daily Outstation Line maintenance operations for the given area to ensure that Maximum on-time technical dispatch levels and the highest quality of aircraft maintenance is being provided in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Accountabilities
- Assist to meet all required departmental goals and objectives.
- Continual assessment and oversight of Safe, Cost effective, On-Time Performance by: a Regular Technical oversight visits to each outstation.
- Assess all man-hour and material charges from each station handling AMO
- Analyze all Technical Delays and initiate actions or procedures to improve dispatch performance to the highest possible level.
- Full Budget accountability for stations.
- Review of AMO contracts on a regular basis for Cost effectiveness of services
- Perform Policy and Procedures training as required
- Set up and perform technical visits for new AMO station start-ups.
Education & Experience
- AMEL (ICAO) and/or appropriate Engineering Degree.
- Must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 7 years airline industry experience in aircraft maintenance and/or technical management of which 3 years must be in a Line Maintenance environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in technical matters - An excellent knowledge of line maintenance operations, together with an understanding of SGHA contracts and IATP
- A familiarity of maintenance regulations issued by an appropriate regulatory authority (EASA and/or the UAE GCAA)
- High computer literacy
- Ability to travel globally on a regular basis to visit the outstations.
