HR & Compliance Officer

​Our client, a leading Oil & Gas organization is working with Charterhouse to assist their search for a HR & Compliance Officer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a company who is a leading provider within their sector.

About the Role
The HR & Compliance Officer will provide comprehensive HR support across all employee relations and learning & development functions. This role will manage all HR transactional services whilst also implementing policies and practices within the organization. Main responsibilities for the HR Officer will include but are not limited to, managing the full employee lifecycle, recruitment and onboarding processes as well as inductions, assisting with performance reviews, handlimg employee relations and monitoring leave for all employees.

Additionally, the Compliance Officer will be knowledgeable on local government rules and regulations, including JAFZA regulations. The role will oversee compliance training and meetings, as well as carry out Know Your Client (KYC) background checks to ensure adherence to legal standards.

About You
To be considered for this role, a minimum of 5 years of experience in HR is required, with at least 2 years of experience in a compliance-related role.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of modern HR solutions and extensive knowledge of local labour laws, including JAFZA regulations. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, along with proficiency in MS Office applications. Our client is seeking someone who is highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring deadlines are met. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels are essential.
