Job Summary
The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for the smooth execution of construction projects by managing technical drawings, material submittals, approvals, and project documentation.
This role will coordinate with multiple teams to prevent delays, resolve design conflicts, and optimize project outcomes to achieve timely and successful project completion.
Responsibilities
Review assigned project documents, including scope of work, drawings, specifications, vendor list, bill of quantities, etc.
Preparation of MSRA and material submittals.
Secure the consultant’s approvals and follow up submittals to close all code C.
Ensure samples and mock-up comply with specs and required quality
Proficient in testing materials, aware of all tests required for building materials
Proficient in Estidama, all pearls requirements to ensure that all materials complying with it
Coordinate with different disciplines and engineers like Structural, Architectural & MEP
Identify and report design conflicts and disputes to the technical manager.
Prepare an inquiry package for the procurement team and review the quotations to create technical and commercial comparison sheets for each item.
Attend site coordination and progress meetings to monitor and address project challenges.
Liaise between project teams (client, consultant, subcontractor, project managers, and site engineers) to resolve construction difficulties.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar field in the UAE.
Proven experience in technical engineering roles within construction projects.
Expertise in concrete, steel, and precast structures, and landscape works.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MSRA, Procurement Inquiries, technical drawings, and documents.
Experience in coordinating with project teams.
Knowledge of authorities’ requirements (Estidama, ADDC, ADSSC, ADM, ADMCC, Etisalat, Du, ADC,D etc.)
Fluency in English & Arabic is a must.
