Functional Area: Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
Purpose of Job
- Carries out the maintenance and design of new / modified Distributed Control Systems (DCS), including analysing users requirements, preparing DCS logic and specifications and supervising testing and debugging.
- Monitors DCS system performance and recommends improvements thereof.
- Provides support to various plant automation systems such as Advanced process control, Real time database (PI) and plant automation system and network.
- Participates in the commissioning and acceptance testing of newly installed DCS and process computer systems.
Minimum Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in Chemical or Electronics engineering.
- 5 years experience in computer systems design and implementation in an oil / gas or petrochemical industry.
- Good knowledge of English.
