Purpose of Job
- Responsible for keeping all economic and planning models up to date and for developing any new models required for the business from time to time.
- Coordinates the implementation of internal and external economic models of the Refinery operations in order to support the business planning and scheduling process.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering with exposure to Refinery economics and planning tools.
- 10 years’ experience of energy economics and economic modelling, preferably within a Refinery environment.
- Business Analysis Economic appraisal using spreadsheet investment appraisal models Construction of economic and financial spreadsheet models
- Optimisation modelling using spread sheets and/or linear programming models.
- Report writing and presentation skills
- Knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in verbal and written English.
- Knowledge of Arabic is preferable
