Job Summary To assist the Warehouse Co-ordinator providing shipping and dispatch service, including warehouse operation, receiving, packaging and shipping responsibilities. Secondary duties to include assisting material controller as required.Main Tasks: Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving (70%). Organize stock, track Customer and FLIR owned equipment/items located in the warehouse and maintain inventory Inspect and package high value sensitive goods for outgoing shipments for pickup accurately and examine received incoming shipments Accurately review and handover shipping documents to shipper ensuring retention of goods dispatch records as required Review and maintain incoming shipping documents and log in all shipment record keeping. Picking and shipping goods from ERP system to maintain accurate inventory and financial records Manual Handling - Ability to meet periodic physical demands of the position (lifting, pushing, pulling etc.). Secondary Tasks: Associate Material Handler (30%) SAP parts data entry. Receipt of equipment, parts storage, stock picker and issue, orders and tracking Monitor parts inventory and consumable shortages Action parts requisitionsJob Qualifications:Prior use of a large integrated ERP system is essential, ideally SAPCurrent knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures is essential Knowledge of safety regulations, legislation and protocol including the shipping of dangerous goods (limited to Lithium Batteries) is advantageous Prior knowledge or exposure to Export Licensed products would be helpful Sound administration and organization skills Good numeric skills Computer literacy, with a good understanding of the Microsoft Office package Ability and to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines and prioritize workload Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures is essential. Data handling skills Fluent in English (written and verbal)
