Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning units and HVAC systems
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs
Perform routine preventive maintenance and servicing
Recharge refrigerants and check system pressures and temperatures
Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and wiring diagrams
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures
Respond to breakdowns and emergency repair requests
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work
Coordinate with supervisors and other technical staff when required
Skills
Proven experience as an AC Technician or HVAC Technician
Technical diploma or certification in HVAC (preferred)
Good knowledge of split units, ducted systems, and package units
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Basic knowledge of electrical systems
Physically fit and able to work at heights when required
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
