The HSE Officer ensures the implementation and compliance of health, safety, and environmental policies on construction sites. They monitor work practices, conduct inspections, and provide training to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and regulations on site.
Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards.
Monitor compliance with safety laws, regulations, and standards (UAE labor law, OSHA, NEBOSH, etc.).
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.
Conduct safety orientations and training programs for all site staff.
Maintain safety documentation, records, and reports.
Coordinate with management and contractors on safety matters.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
Participate in emergency preparedness and response drills.
