Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shoe Stitching Instructor/Trainer to train and mentor our team of cobblers/workers in Sharjah for our client. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of shoe repair, stitching techniques, and use of all kinds of stitching machines. This role requires not only technical expertise but also strong teaching and leadership skills to ensure high-quality workmanship and productivity among trainees.
Key Responsibilities:
· Train new and existing cobblers/workers in stitching, gluing, and repairing all types of footwear and handbags.
· Demonstrate proper use of shoe stitching machines (Auto/Manual machines) and standard shoe repair tools.
· Develop training materials, guides, and practical demonstrations for trainees.
· Monitor and evaluate trainees’ performance, providing feedback and corrective guidance.
· Ensure that all cobblers adhere to quality standards and company procedures.
· Measure daily production and conduct process improvements to improve efficiency.
· Maintain a safe and organized training environment.
Requirements:
· Minimum 1- 5 years of experience in the same field with strong expertise in stitching and repairing shoes on machines.
· Hands-on experience with shoe stitching machines (Auto/Manual machines).
· Proven experience in training or mentoring technical staff is highly mandatory.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively teach and guide trainees.
· Ability to work in a structured training environment and maintain high quality standards.
Salary & Benefits:
· Salary - 5000AED to 10000 AED (Depending on Experience & Performance in interview ).
· Working Hours: 10 hours per day (8+2hrs OT)
· Working Days: 6 days per week.
· Visa, Air Fare and medical insurance provided by the Company.
