We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Telecommunications Assistant to support the installation, maintenance, and coordination of our company’s communication systems. You will serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software issues while assisting with the administrative side of vendor management and equipment inventory.

​Key Responsibilities

​Technical Support: Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of VoIP phones, mobile devices, and video conferencing equipment.

​System Maintenance: Perform routine checks on telecommunications systems to ensure maximum uptime and performance.

​Administrative Coordination: Manage service requests, track equipment inventory, and maintain accurate records of user accounts and extensions.

​Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with external service providers for repairs, installations, and billing inquiries.

​Training: Provide basic training and "how-to" documentation for staff on new communication tools and software.

​Documentation: Maintain diagrams and logs of wiring, port assignments, and hardware locations.

​Qualifications & Skills

​Education: High School Diploma required; Associate degree in IT, Telecommunications, or a related field is a plus.

​Experience: 1–2 years of experience in technical support, IT, or a telecommunications-heavy administrative role.

​Technical Knowledge: * Familiarity with VoIP and PBX systems.

​Basic understanding of networking (cabling, routers, switches).

​Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 or Google Workspace.
