- Support regional sales by exploring program business opportunities for gas turbines, steam turbines, and generator services, and lead the preparation of accurate techno-commercial bids to meet Sales Target Agreements, including defining project winning strategies.
- Evaluate customer tender specifications and determine marketing and pricing strategies while managing the bid process for Program Business and Complex Projects (O&M, Long Term Maintenance Programs, Full Scope Maintenance, and Change Mode contracts).
- Coordinate projects with internal and external bodies, integrating customer requirements while evaluating risks and specific power plant conditions.
- Oversee the contract process, including complex negotiations and adapting contracts to customer-specific requirements, while managing the Limits of Authority approval process.
- Ensure successful project handover to the project execution team and engage with customers early to influence decision criteria by understanding key drivers and the value chain in the Middle East Power Market.
- Develop strong client relationships, identify business opportunities, enhance market transparency, and support digital solutions applicable to rotating equipment, while adhering to the Company’s compliance and business conduct policies.
Skills
What You Bring
- Relevant Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, with extensive experience in sales, business development, and marketing in the power plant business.
- Knowledge in Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) and gas turbine technology, with expertise in sales, project management, LTP, O&M, and FSM.
- Strong understanding of the Middle East energy markets, customer dynamics, and supplier structures.
- Ability to develop customer requirements into business opportunities and communicate effectively within Siemens, including conducting economic analyses for key projects.
- Excellent negotiation skills and a self-motivated drive to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
- Strong analytical, time management, and creative problem-solving skills, with intercultural experience and a willingness to travel; fluent in English, with German and Arabic as a plus.
