Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven *Regional Sales Manager* to lead and expand our agro-trading business across assigned territories. The role requires strategic thinking, strong relationship management, and a deep understanding of agricultural markets.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, distributors, traders, and institutional buyers.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand IAG’s presence in the region.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Lead negotiations and close high-value contracts.
- Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7–10 years of experience in agro trading, agri-inputs, or commodities sales.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in regional/international markets.
- Strong network in agricultural communities and trading ecosystems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
