Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests on construction materials (soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregates).
- Prepare, label, and document samples according to project and regulatory standards.
- Ensure proper calibration, cleanliness, and safe operation of laboratory equipment.
- Record, analyze, and report test results to the QA/QC team in a timely manner.
- Support site inspections and material verification when required.
- Ensure compliance with Kuwait regulations, project specifications, and internal quality procedures.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors for approvals and clarifications.
Skills
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Lab Technician in construction or materials testing.
- Experience on PAHW (Public Authority for Housing Welfare) projects is a strong advantage.
- Good knowledge of ASTM, BS, and Kuwait-specific testing standards.
- Ability to prepare accurate reports and maintain organized documentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit to handle site sampling when required.
