Job Title: Senior Barista – Japanese Restaurant / Café

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: AED 4,000 – 5,500 (depending on experience)

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Barista to join our Japanese restaurant and café in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong skills in specialty coffee, latte art, and cold beverages, with knowledge of Japanese-style drinks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee (espresso-based and brewed coffee)
• Create consistent and professional latte art
• Prepare cold beverages: iced coffee, cold brew, frappes, matcha drinks, and Japanese-inspired beverages
• Control coffee quality (grinding, extraction, milk texture, temperature, presentation)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Manage stock levels and report shortages
• Assist in training junior baristas when needed
• Provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista, preferably in specialty coffee shops or premium restaurants
• Strong skills in:
• Latte art
• Specialty coffee preparation
• Cold beverages
• Matcha and Japanese-style drinks (mandatory)
• Good knowledge of coffee beans and brewing techniques
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Good communication skills in English
• Professional attitude and ability to work under pressure
