Job Summary:
The job holder will lead their team in managing each Skid Solutions on time design and execution, mitigating risk as and when needed and targeting an overall margin uplift for each project through its execution. At the same time, the incumbent will both develop and lead execution of Strategic and Tactical priorities for the department to ensure financial metrics, team efficiency and customer service levels are continuously improved, leveraging intelligent automation where possible.They will also champion a high-performance, customer first culture where team members feel both empowered and valued.
The role is based at Emerson Automation Solution’s state of the art campus in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Freezone, United Arab Emirates
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Manage the Order to Cash cycle for KOB1 & 2 Natural Gas Skid business
- Own the monthly KOB1 & 2 Natural Gas Skid POR and drive actions to mitigate any risk
- Coach and support direct reports creating an environment where they can excel through clear direction, encouragement, and empowerment
- Develop the PMO Vision and sets associated Strategic/Tactical priorities, ensuring appropriate timelines and reviews are in place to drive to completion.Work proactively with the Sales Team, Finance and BU Leadership to support the plan
- Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure productivity and customer service levels are improved (Turnaround times, On time delivery, Late backlog etc)
- Implement and/or refine PMO processes and procedures with an emphasis on “Right first Time”, maximizing utilization of intelligent automaton
- Establish close relationship with Sales Leaders and for high complexity projects, drive early engagement of the PMO team to maximize project wins on best terms for Emerson
- Accountable for proper utilization of the PRM “Gated Process” to ensure on-time delivery of both product and documentation project deliverables, in line with the projects scope and requirements.
- Owns the design for each solution in accordance with industry standards/specifications.Maximizes content from total Emerson portfolio, not just PRM
- Lead the PMO team in developing the project milestone plan based on inputs from operations and supply chain team stakeholders, identify the critical path and manage any risks that may occur
- Manages the preparation of the Quality / Inspection and Test Plan to ensure Project adheres to specifications and ensures other project documentation is prepared accurately (Drawings, Procedures, Certs, Data Books) for on time submission
- Own the Margin Uplift target for each project and ensure the team work to achieve targeting savings in areas such as design optimization, sourcing, inspection and change order management and
- Owns the preparation of tender documents for 3rd party vendors and other Emerson BU’s.Identifies and negotiates with compliant 3rd party vendors ensuring terms are favorable to Emerson.
- Ensures a robust supplier qualification process is in place for prospective new vendors.Leads the resultant audit and has authority to approve qualification
- Proactively engage with Supplier to ensure deliverable status is to plan during execution.
- Owns the relationship with the customer (EPC and/or End User) during execution phase.Seeks to establish communication with Project Director or equivalent
- Lead negotiations for Change Orders during execution and to reduce Liquidated Damages claims after completion with customers, if applicable.Travels Globally when needed to resolve
- Leads Final Factory Acceptance Tests with customer witness inspectors.Owns closure of any resultant punch points
- Ensure proper Close Out upon project completion, including the KOB3 handoff to Sales team and Lessons Learned review.
- Manages Skid commissioning and service work at site ensuring resource and adequate safety provision is in place
- Participate in regular business reviews with Sales and other WA PMOs to align to market needs and share best practices
- Ensure compliance with Legal and Company requirements - Trade Compliance, Ethics, DoA etc
- Owns the ISO Quality Management Certification for PRM Dubai site
- Participates as stakeholder in Global and Regional Strategic Plan teams
- Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- BEng degree in Engineering
- Minimum 10 years progressive project management experience
- Minimum 7 years management experience in industrial manufacturing or related field
- Must be fluent in English
- Experience developing and leading business strategy
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- PMP or equivalent Project Management certification
- Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process/Chemical, Electrical/Instrumentation)
- CAD Experience
