Job Details

·Prepare project-specific plans, procedures, KPIs, and budget estimates, ensuring their alignment with RTA’s Road infrastructure development goals.


·Contribute to project planning and scheduling strategies by analyzing progress reports and identifying areas requiring corrective action.


·Define communication and documentation protocols for assigned projects, including correspondence workflows and reporting mechanisms.


·Conduct regular field inspections to monitor contractor performance and ensure full compliance with approved technical drawings, safety regulations, and material specifications.


·Evaluate contractors and subcontractors before and after project execution based on defined performance criteria.


·Review and validate financial claims submitted by contractors, escalating discrepancies or justifications for higher-level review.


·Review project plans, drawings, and designs for roads, identifying risks or inefficiencies, and recommending technical adjustments.


·Ensure all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) requirements are integrated into project activities and monitored as per the project management plan.


·Supervise testing and inspection activities to validate quality and ensure material/product compliance at various construction stages.


·Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to fulfil handover requirements and align all deliverables with RTA’s standards.


·Track and manage the closure of snags and outstanding works during the Defect Notification Period (DNP).


·Review traffic diversion plans and coordinate inspections with relevant departments to ensure public safety and adherence to approved layouts.


·Monitor project progress monthly, conduct variance analysis against baseline schedules, and recommend remedial actions for delays or resource constraints


·Support the enhancement of inspection routines and reporting templates based on site findings and contractor performance metrics.


·Recommend updates to handover practices, diversion review processes, and stakeholder coordination methods to reduce project risks and improve delivery efficiency.


·Contribute to lessons learned sessions and provide field-derived insights for continuous improvement in road project implementation.


Bachelor’s degree/architecture/master’s degree in civil engineering or construction management


3+ years in case of master’s degree (4+ years in case of bachelor’s degree) in related field
