About the job Female BCBA Assistant
Our client is a leading healthcare facility in Dubai, UAE seeking a skilled BCBA Assistant to support the Board Certified Behavior Analyst and contribute to effective behavior analysis services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the BCBA in supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and In-Home Behavior Technicians (IBTs).
- Support ABA department staff, ensuring adherence to standards, guidelines, timelines, and budget.
- Ensure quality and effective implementation of treatment and programming for designated clients.
- Conduct a range of behavior assessments, including ABLLS, VB-MAPP, functional behaviors, and preference assessments, and create positive behavior support plans under the BCBA's supervision.
- Assist therapists in implementing strategies to reduce problem behavior.
- Plan and organize training sessions and workshops for RBTs, service providers, caregivers, and families.
- Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, using a mix of intensive teaching and natural environment training.
- Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
- Collect and summarize data on observable client behaviors, including toilet training protocols.
- Assist in parent and caregiver training aligned with client-specific treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
- Effectively communicate client progress to parents and caregivers as directed by the BCBA.
- Maintain client confidentiality and uphold HIPAA laws.
- Support Lead Behavioral Technicians, Behavior Analysts, and ABA Interns with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments.
- Collaborate with the treatment team, including clients, families, and external professionals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
- Assume Behavioral Technician responsibilities in their absence.
- Participate in clinic activities, such as events and marketing campaigns.
- Stay updated on technical knowledge by attending required trainings.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the behavioral health or ABA therapy sector.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and accept constructive feedback.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical standards.
- Knowledge of implementing clinical protocols and maintaining client confidentiality.
