Job Summary:

Client is seeking a senior, results-oriented professional with 6–10 years of relevant experience to support and strengthen its academic–industry engagement and placement ecosystem. Reporting to the Head – Placements, the role involves leading placement and internship initiatives, managing and mentoring a small team, and working closely with corporate partners and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.



Key Responsibilities:


    • Lead and manage end-to-end placement and internship activities for assigned programs
    • Supervise, guide, and mentor placement team members, ensuring effective execution of goals
    • Drive final placements and internship opportunities through sustained corporate engagement
    • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, recruiters, alumni, and internal stakeholders
    • Identify and develop new industry partnerships and strategic placement opportunities aligned with institutional objectives
    • Analyse market trends, hiring patterns, and placement data to support strategic planning and decision-making
    • Prepare and present placement reports, dashboards, proposals, and reviews for senior management
    • Coordinate with cross-border and regional teams to support international business and placement objectives
    • Represent Client at corporate meetings, networking events, alumni interactions, and industry forums



Requirements:


    • 6–10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in placements, corporate relations, talent acquisition, or academic–industry interface roles
    • Demonstrated experience in team handling, mentoring, or project leadership
    • Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
    • Proven ability to operate effectively in a multicultural and international environment
    • Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership and execution capability
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight timelines with minimal supervision
    • MBA / PGDM or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a reputed institution
    • Prior experience working in GCC / Middle East markets
    • Strong client-facing and senior stakeholder management exposure
    • Understanding of regional hiring practices, labour norms, and compliance frameworks
