In this role, you will deliver financial insights, operational reporting, and performance analysis that support planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making across Zurich Cover-More’s global portfolio. You’ll have the opportunity to build new financial processes from the ground up, shape scalable reporting capabilities, and work closely with senior leaders across multiple regions.
What you’ll be doing: You will:
- Develop financial analysis, insights, forecasting, and planning for the Zurich Cover-More portfolio.
- Co-create annual financial plans in collaboration with Zurich Global Businesses & Operations (GBO), Group Finance, and regional finance teams.
- Lead and coordinate performance management activities including business unit reviews, monthly updates, and executive reporting.
- Produce clear, cohesive written analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders across the Group.
- Conduct recurring and ad-hoc financial and operational analyses to explain performance drivers and variances.
- Partner with senior leaders to provide an integrated, high-level view of financial performance.
- Ensure integrity of accounting records and financial reports in collaboration with shared service accounting teams.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across Group Finance, business units, auditors, and service providers.
- Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, insight generation, and reporting quality.
- Develop and optimize manual and automated financial processes during this critical integration phase.
What skills and experience you’ll bring on this journey:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, ideally in insurance or financial services.
- Professional designation such as CPA, CPCU, CFA, or CTP (completed or in progress) preferred, but not required.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, SAP, and general ledger systems.
- Solid understanding of financial accounting concepts and reporting principles.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in fast-changing environments.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to craft compelling written insights for senior audiences.
- Ability to collaborate across regions, functions, and seniority levels.
- Growth mindset, adaptability, and comfort working through organizational transitions.
- Experience in business integration or separation environments.
- Strong project management skills and an understanding of financial or operational processes.
- Background working with global or matrixed teams.
- Exposure to insurance underwriting or performance analytics.

At Zurich Cover-More, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. In compliance with local laws, Zurich commits to providing a fair and reasonable compensation range for each role. For more information about our Total Rewards, please click here. Additional rewards may encompass short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education.
The combined salary range for this position is between $87,200 and $142,700 with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
