About The Role


Officer, Surveillance will monitor guests and staff activities in the resort through the use of CCTV. Successful candidate will be focusing on gathering intelligence to support internal and external investigations, conducting assessments of incidents, and coordinating response to incidents. Person in this role will be required to provide support to incident commanders for all critical incidents in the hotel and form part of the emergency management plan. Additionally, responsibilities will include conducting audits of access control and CCTV investigations to support overall hotel security plan.


About You


Our ideal candidate will have College degree or Secondary education and demonstrate good written and spoken English. You should be certified by SIRA and have strong knowledge of electronic security and security management system to supervise and initiate effective CCTV operation. Experience in a large hotel or complex commercial facility is preferred, knowledge of UAE Health & Safety regulations is required to be considered for this role.


Qualifications:




  • Valid SIRA or PSBD Security System Operator License
    (Candidates holding an active UAE‑recognized security systems certification are strongly preferred.)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Security System Operator in a 5‑star hotel environment within the UAE, ensuring exposure to high‑end hospitality operations, guest‑focused service standards, and complex security workflows is strongly preferred).

Technical Skills & Experience: 




  • Hands‑on expertise with CCTV and integrated security systems, including:

    • Monitoring live CCTV feeds

    • Incident reporting

    • Operating access control and alarm systems

    • Control room operations





  • Strong computer literacy, including: 

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    • Experience using incident‑reporting software.

    • Ability to quickly learn and operate CCTV & integrated security platforms.



Communication & Professional Skills: 




  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Professional behaviour, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

  • High attention to detail with strict confidentiality.

Emergency & Safety Knowledge: 




  • Working knowledge of emergency procedures.

  • Familiarity with escalation protocols and guest safety standards.

  • High level of integrity, alertness, and situational awareness.

  • Consistent accuracy in reporting and documentation, supporting logs and incident records.

  • Ability to coordinate with Duty Managers, Team Leaders, and Security Management in daily operations and emergencies.

  • Commitment to departmental SOPs, confidentiality policies, and regulatory compliance.

  • Demonstrates teamwork, reliability, and adaptability to changing operational needs.
