Job Details

  1. Participating in the preparation of operational projects, as well as the Unit’s policies and work procedures.
  2. Conducting the final review of audit procedures for accounting entries posted by other Units within the Finance Department on a monthly basis.
  3. Auditing the implementation of entry and processing procedures for adjustments received from other Units, based on written approval from the Head of the concerned Unit.
  4. Performing reconciliation procedures for bank statements and accounting records related to revenues and payments.
  5. Executing monthly and annual financial closing procedures for general accounts and payment accounts in accordance with the deadlines set by the Dubai Government Finance Department.
  6. Auditing the final accounts at the end of the financial year.
  7. Reviewing the financial component of the organization’s contracts in coordination with the relevant organizational units to ensure the accuracy of financial data, terms, and delay penalties.
  8. Reviewing creditors’ statements, suppliers’ account statements, and financial analysis statements of payments, and ensuring their accuracy and reconciliation.
  • A Master’s degree requires 3 years of experience in accounting or an equivalent field.
  • A Bachelor’s degree requires 5 years of experience in accounting or an equivalent field.
  • A Diploma requires 11 years of experience in accounting or an equivalent field.
