Your Day to Day
As our Sous Chef, you will support the Executive Chef in leading daily kitchen operations, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented with consistency, creativity, and quality. You will actively lead the culinary team during service, fostering collaboration, clear communication, and accountability while creating an environment where team members feel valued and supported. You will contribute to menu development, seasonal concepts, and recipe standardization, ensuring alignment with brand standards while encouraging innovation.


You will support the delivery of departmental performance goals by monitoring key operational results including guest satisfaction scores, food quality standards, cost management, and productivity levels. You will assist in managing food cost, portion control, waste reduction, and inventory accuracy, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining high quality outcomes. You will review guest feedback, support improvement initiatives, and contribute to revenue opportunities through creative promotions and culinary experiences.


You will play an important role in leading and developing people by supporting training plans, coaching junior team members, and promoting continuous learning within the kitchen. You will ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and company policies, demonstrating strong attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices. You will also support the successful execution of events, promotions, and high demand service periods, ensuring operational readiness and team alignment.


What We Need From You


We are looking for someone with strong culinary experience, ideally within a lifestyle hotel. You demonstrate leadership presence, commercial awareness, and the ability to deliver results through teamwork and engagement. You are passionate about guest experience, adaptable to change, and committed to developing yourself and others. Professional culinary qualifications are preferred.
