As a critical member of the Digital Technology & Platforms (DT&P) team for a premier global airline, you will ensure the stability, integrity, and performance of a multi-billion dollar enterprise IT ecosystem. This role focuses on managing a hybrid infrastructure, balancing on-premise legacy systems with modern public cloud environments (AWS/OCI), to ensure seamless, around-the-clock flight and corporate operations.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Excellence: Maintain and configure Windows and Linux (RHEL, Oracle Linux) servers, ensuring high availability and peak performance across private and public clouds.
Cloud & Virtualization: Administer AWS services (EC2, RDS, VPC), VMware clusters, and Rancher Kubernetes environments to support containerized workloads.
Lifecycle Management: Execute routine OS patching, system hardening, and upgrades in compliance with global aviation security standards.
Service Continuity: Act as a technical escalation point for troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and File Services; monitor data center health to proactively resolve hardware and connectivity issues.
Modern Collaboration: Manage and support the Office 365 suite (Exchange Online, Teams) and Citrix VDI environments to ensure global workforce connectivity.
Process Compliance: Adhere to ITIL and SAFe Agile frameworks for change management and incident resolution within a 24/7 operational shift model.
Required Skills & Experience
Expert Level: Windows Server & RHEL administration, including core services (DNS, DHCP, AD, Clusters, and Satellite).
AWS SysOps (VPC, EC2, RDS), VMware/Hyper-V virtualization, and Office 365 administration.
Containerization: Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
Tools & Security: Experience with IDAM solutions, Citrix VDI, and basic scripting/automation for task efficiency.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a high-pressure, multicultural enterprise environment.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in a large-scale enterprise environment (Aviation or Travel sector preferred).
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS SysOps, RHCE, MCSE) are highly desirable.
