Coordinate the development needs and survey systems projects in conjunction with users, making the link between the business needs and existing technical availability, seeking the best solutions and the optimization of expected results. Contribute to the planning and development of strategies of how technology can be used to create new opportunities and provide competitive advantage for the business. Analyze the business area, noting how it currently operates and how it should operate within integrated concepts related to each other and what data or information are required for the viability of the new opportunities. Explore alternative methods of troubleshooting, including using/modifying external packages ready, etc. Meet with the user or client to define and evaluate specific problems of the area that can be resolved through automated systems. Train users on new or existing systems.


Responsibilities
  • Testing Information Technology (IT) Performance: Design and monitor the quality of website/applications software tests and respond to user emails to monitor, diagnose, and correct performance issues.
  • Application Software Road Map: Define and maintain a roadmap to facilitate application software development and ensure the development work is prioritized in line with business requirements.
  • Technical Developments Recommendation: Discuss and recommend more complex or innovative technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/application software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users’ needs.
  • Business Requirements Identification: Elicit complex business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis, to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.
  • Analysis of "As Is" and "To Be": Document complex "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required.
  • Enterprise Infrastructure Modernization: Drive advances in technologies and architectures to increase the value delivered by technology and digital capabilities, either through improvements to the efficiency of the technology environment or through those that reduce the total cost of technology operations. Recommend and participate in activities related to the design, development, and maintenance of the digital capabilities within the enterprise architecture.
  • Personal Capability Building: Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct complex feasibility studies from a technological and organizational perspective and document findings to complete cost-benefit analysis on implementing changes to business processes, products, or business unit structure.
  • Enterprise Business Analysis: Interpret the business need and identify solution recommendations to business problems at a business unit level. Lead the improvement efforts that are within span of control at this level.
  • Project Management: Manage a portfolio of projects while reporting to senior colleagues.
  • Client & Customer Management (External): Manage important client relationships with guidance from senior colleagues, or oversee relationship management with a group of more transactional clients and customers.
