About the job COST CONTROLLER
We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller / Reporting Engineer to support project cost control and reporting activities for an ADNOC Offshore project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and project reporting across FEED, EPC, construction, and commissioning phases.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain project cost control systems, budgets, and cost reports.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow reports, and variance analysis.
- Track commitments, actual costs, and identify potential cost overruns.
- Coordinate with planning and project teams to align cost and schedule data.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress and cost reports for internal and client review.
- Support management change, including evaluation of variations and claims.
- Analyze project performance using KPIs such as CPI, cost variance, and earned value.
- Review contractor invoices and ensure proper cost allocation and coding.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial close-out reports.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC Offshore procedures and reporting requirements.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Finance, or related discipline.
- 8–12 years of experience in cost control and reporting in oil & gas projects.
- Proven experience in offshore projects, preferably with ADNOC Offshore.
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with project control tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 and integration of cost and schedule data.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CCP, PMP) are an advantage.
