Overview:
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager with solid experience in road logistics to help grow our client base and strengthen our market presence. This role is focused on identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships, and driving revenue within the land transport sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within road freight and transport services
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, including shippers, distributors, and key accounts
- Understand client requirements and propose tailored logistics solutions
- Work closely with operations and pricing teams to ensure competitive and feasible proposals
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Prepare regular reports on pipeline, sales performance, and forecasts
Skills
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development or sales within road logistics / land transport
- Strong understanding of trucking operations, routes, and regional logistics (UAE/GCC experience is a plus)
- Existing network of clients within logistics, FMCG, retail, or industrial sectors is preferred
- Ability to negotiate and close deals independently
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially driven with a results-oriented mindset
