Job Responsibilities:. Contract Administration
• Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all parties comply with contract terms
• Manage formal correspondence with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Maintain accurate contract records
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure timely issuance of instructions, approvals, and payment certificates
. Variations & Change Management
• Implement change control processes
• Review variation requests and prepare variation orders
• Negotiate cost and schedule impacts
• Assess contractual impacts and provide recommendations to project management
. Claims Management
• Identify, prepare, and manage extension of time (EOT) and cost claims
• Maintain claim registers
• Collect and preserve all supporting documents and evidence
. Risk Management & Compliance
• Identify contractual and commercial risks
• Propose mitigation measures
• Issue contractual notices (e.g., delay notices)
. Reporting & Coordination
• Prepare monthly commercial reports
• Provide claim status updates and maintain variation logs
Skills
Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience as Contracts Engineer or Quantity Surveyor in UAE
• Proficient in FIDIC 1999 forms of contract
• Completed at least 2 full project lifecycles
• Proven ability to independently manage variations and claims
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
