As Lead Business Improvement Associate you will delivers Cargo business solutions as per the business process/requirements. Assesses the effectiveness of the changed process and the usage of tools while continuously focusing on improving the process and tools based on business demand and industry trend.
In this role you will:
- Ensures availability of Systems and all automated interfaces (with vendor or in-house developed systems) to achieve operational targets and the highest levels of service delivery in line with Operational requirements.
- Evaluates the usage of the tool& solution by the user community and highlights the non-compliance and area of improvements.
- Supports Managers in sourcing tools required to meet our objective and Conducts Proof of Concept.
- Supports direct reports in defining the roll out plan and ensure the changes are rolled out across the warehouse and other facilities.
- Approves and certifies the product post successful User Acceptance Testing for product implementation in production live operations. Participates in Configuration of the product readiness for Production roll out.
- Leads and drives the Improved Business/Systems processes in dnata Cargo to ensure Cargo operational requirements are met and serviced to the highest possible standards and in a cost efficient manner.
- Administers co-ordinates and synergises the cargo systems with operational requirements and trends in order to achieve required performance efficiencies. Benchmarks systems, service level agreements, work instructions, services and processes against other leading products in the industry ensuring dnata cargo is always at par if not better.
- Understands the changes recommended by External customers and conduct feasibility study on those ensuring the same are incorporated for the benefit of all members.
- Accountable for the efficient management & scheduling of changes in Business/System process ensuring availability of Systems and all automated interfaces to achieve operational targets.
- Assists in Conducting Process audit and assess system processes to ensure the same are in line with Service level Agreements, Standard Operating Procedures, and any Gaps identified to be analysed and adequate processes need to be implemented to address deviations. Alternatively new changes a per industry guidelines to be implemented.
- Collaborates with the team and support Operations in attending to any Critical Process/System issues as and when needed.
- Ensures cases / complaints registered by Internal & external customers are resolved within the agreed SLA norms.
- Assists the Business Technology Improvement Controller in analysis of changes / recommendations to support the implementation process.
- Recommends preventive measures by analysing cases and issues reported around Systems, tools and interfaces.
Qualification
To be considered for this role, you should meet the below requirements:
- Degree in Supply chain management, Logistics or operational management.
- Experience of 4-6 years relevant post qualification experience in Cargo handling Systems/Environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of Supply Chain, Air Cargo Industry and Warehouse.
- Ability to understand, communicate and translate Business/Operational processes into System Requirements
- Analytical ability to engage in testing interface level information between systems (agents and airlines)
- Proficient Data collection and analysis Skills
- Good English written and spoken communication
- Proficient Presentation and Facilitation Skills
