The Role We're looking for a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of accounting and financial reporting across our UAE entities and group of companies. This is a hands-on role in a small, efficient team where you'll have real impact — not just process transactions, but shape how our finance function works. The transaction volume is low (B2B focus, small headcount), and we actively use automation tools so the role is less about data entry and more about judgment, compliance, and making things run smoothly.
What You'll Do
Core responsibilities:
- Full-cycle accounting and IFRS financial reporting for Group entities VAT returns, corporate tax filings, and company registration with tax authorities where required
- Coordinate with external auditors to obtain audit opinions
- Handle bank compliance requests, KYC updates, and regulatory inquiries
- Manage payroll, payroll taxes
- Operate online banking (payment preparation and execution)
You will also be involved in:
- Management reporting, budgets, cash flow forecasts, financial analysis for leadership
- Treasury, FX operations, liquidity management across multi-currency accounts
- Intercompany compliance
- Liaising with corporate service providers, registered agents, and regulators
- Keeping corporate documents current (licenses, renewals, resolutions)
- Improving and automating financial processes and workflows
