Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of welds and paint coatings, ensuring adherence to project specifications and international standards.
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) such as Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to identify subsurface defects.
- Review and interpret welding procedures (WPS), painting procedures, and technical drawings to ensure compliance during fabrication and coating application.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions taken during welding and painting processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or a related field.
- Holds certifications in relevant NDT methods (RT, UT, MPI) and welding inspection (e.g., CSWIP, AWS-CWI).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control inspection within the oil and gas, construction, or manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrates proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, welding symbols, and painting specifications.
