Roles & Responsibilities
Create and adjust paper patterns as needed.
Lay out fabrics efficiently to minimize waste.
Supervise cutting team members (if applicable) and ensure quality standards are met.
Inspect cut pieces for accuracy, defects, and consistency before handing over to stitching.
Work closely with the design and production team to meet deadlines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cutting section.
Desired Candidate Profile
5–10 years of proven experience as a Cutting Master / Master Cutter in a garment manufacturing or tailoring workshop
Strong expertise in manual cutting, pattern making, and fabric handling.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and specifications.
Handle different types of fabrics (cotton, polyester, blends, etc.) used in uniforms and workwear.
Prepare and cut fabric according to patterns, measurements, and design specifications for bulk and custom orders.
Able to take measurement of different type of apparels i.e trouser/pant, polo tshirt/shirt, coat, ladies long dress, pinafore etc.
