- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on transformer systems, including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement upgrades and modifications on transformer designs, enhancing system reliability and efficiency.
- Utilize specialized tools and testing equipment to measure voltage, current, and insulation resistance, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, providing a solid foundation in electrical principles.
- Proven experience of 3-5 years in transformer maintenance or repair within the electrical utility or industrial sectors.
- Relevant certifications such as NETA or IEEE, showcasing commitment to professional development and industry standards.
- Hands-on experience with a variety of transformer types, including power and distribution transformers, is highly desirable.
