Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for joinery and fit-out work. · Review project drawings and specifications to identify materials, quantities, and cost implications. · Prepare and submit tenders, quotations, and variation claims. · Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate contracts. · Monitor project costs and progress to ensure budget control. · Monitor market rates and maintain a cost database. · Prepare progress valuations, interim applications, and final accounts. · Coordinate closely with the design, production, and project teams for cost and material control. · Maintain accurate records and cost reports for ongoing projects. · Conduct site visits for quantity verification and progress assessments. · Support project handover by providing estimation details to the execution team. · Coordinate material submittals, technical data sheets, samples, and approval processes with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in estimation, specifically within the joinery and fitout sectors of the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using estimation software (e.g., CostX, Planswift, AutoCAD) and MS Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of joinery techniques, materials, and fitout processes.
