Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Logistics and Shipping Expeditor located in Dubai. The role involves coordinating shipping schedules, managing logistics documentation, arranging transportation, and monitoring shipments for timely delivery. The Expeditor will collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure a seamless supply chain process, addressing any delays or issues as they arise, while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications and Skillset Organize and facilitate the storage and distribution of goods. Involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods. Good knowledge about Incoterms, customs documentation and general shipping & logistics documentation and approvals. Creation and execution of Import / Export / Transfer BOE, document submission to customs and filling of documents. Aware of Mirsal 1 – 11. Post Documentation, preparing export invoices, packing lists under letters of credit, tracking shipments, co-ordination with suppliers and clients. Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and documentation procedures. Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to shipments and transactions. Able to handle day to day activities and on time communication with all involving parties. Possess sound organizational and analytical skills. Ability to work within fast paced and assertive team. Shall possess excellent English written and verbal communication skills, problem solving abilities, attention to detail & good time management. Good knowledge in handling Basic MS package, ERP experience will be an added advantage. Analyse customer data to develop understanding of their shipment profile and service requirements. Perform other office related duties as and when required within the pricing, operations departments with guidance and support should it be required. Minimum 4+ years GCC Shipping & logistic experience with operational and/or commercial mindset
