Roles & Responsibilities
Operate and monitor ladles during molten steel transfer and casting operations, ensuring safe handling and process continuity.
Coordinate with the Crane Operator, Pulpit Operator, and Shift Supervisor for timely ladle movement, changeover, and casting activities.
Inspect ladles, slide gates, nozzles, and refractory conditions before and during operation to ensure safe performance.
Monitor molten steel flow and assist in maintaining stable casting conditions to achieve production and quality targets.
Follow all safety procedures, maintain housekeeping standards, and report any abnormalities, leakages, or refractory issues immediately.
Desired Candidate Profile
12/ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or related technical discipline.
3–5 years of experience in steel melting shop (SMS) or CCM operations.
Knowledge of ladle handling, refractory systems, slide gate operations, and molten metal safety practices.
Ability to identify operational issues and coordinate effectively with production teams.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts and high-temperature industrial environments.
