About the role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced associate lawyer to join their Dubai office. Reporting directly to the partner / head of department, this role provides high level legal advisory services across a broad range of practice areas, including corporate & commercial, mergers & acquisitions, real estate, fintech, TMT, employment law, intellectual property, dispute resolution, and succession planning (including DIFC wills).

The successful candidate will handle both contentious and non-contentious matters across UAE mainland, DIFC, ADGM, and free zones, ensuring clients receive strategic, practical, and compliant legal solutions.

About the requirements

  • Corporate & commercial: Advise on corporate structuring, company formation, and regulatory compliance. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Real estate & property: Manage legal matters related to real estate transactions, leasing, and property disputes.
  • Fintech & TMT: Provide legal guidance on technology, media, telecommunications, and fintech matters. Advise on licensing, regulatory requirements, and intellectual property protection.
  • Employment & labour: Advise clients on UAE employment laws, disputes, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Litigation & dispute resolution: Represent clients in legal proceedings and provide strategic advice on dispute resolution matters. Prepare legal documentation, submissions, and case strategies.
  • Succession planning & DIFC wills: Draft DIFC wills and advise on succession planning and asset protection strategies.
  • Client relationship & business support: Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering timely and high quality legal services. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement legal strategies. Support business development initiatives and contribute legal expertise.

About you

  • LLB (Hons) law degree, qualified with the Dubai Legal Affairs Department.
  • Minimum 5+ years of legal experience within the UAE.
  • Strong experience across corporate, commercial, M&A, real estate, fintech, TMT, employment law, litigation, and DIFC wills.
  • In depth knowledge of UAE mainland, DIFC, ADGM, and free zone legal frameworks.
  • Proven track record in legal drafting, negotiation, and advisory services.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and client management skills.
  • Commercially aware legal professional with a client focused mindset.
  • Confident in handling multidisciplinary legal matters independently.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
