Role Description Have an understanding of the scope and requirements of the project. Utilizing both manual drawing skills as well as computer-based applications, such as automated computer-assisted drafting, create both two-dimensional and three-dimensional renderings of the finished project.
Key Responsibilities Have an understanding of the scope and requirements of the project. Utilizing both manual drawing skills as wells as computer-based application, such as automated computer-assisted drafting, creates both two-dimensional and three-dimensional renderings of the finished project. Main task is to prepare drawings from interior designers free-hand concepts, space planning, mood images and draft renders. Then from concept drawings up to detailed design drawings including Architectural Plans, MEP Plans, Elevations, General Details, Joinery Details, Door Details, Specialty technical details, etc. All these using computer aided design and drafting (CAD or REVIT) software. Add details to architectural plans from their knowledge of building techniques. Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects. Work under the supervision of engineers or architects. Draft and prepare layout drawings of the given structures, components and devices. Produce draft designs and diagrams according to the given specifications. Assist and coordinate with designers and engineers. Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
Requirements Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture. Communication Skill: Project architects are able to interact with project managers, clients, and design personnel to identify and achieve project objectives. With 10 or more years of related project experience. Must have an understanding in interior and architectural detailing. Must be self-motivated, keen and observant in details, design, symmetry & space requirement.
