Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Dubai. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations that align with client briefs, brand standards, and project budgets. Responsibilities include preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and FF&E schedules, coordinating closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate implementation on site. The role involves space planning, reviewing construction drawings, conducting site visits, and resolving design-related issues during the fit-out process. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, present design proposals, and support material selection and approval, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design outcomes.
Qualifications
Strong Interior Design skills with proven experience in high-quality interior fit-out projects. Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture-related coordination to optimize layouts and user experience. Ability to produce and review detailed Construction Drawings that align with design intent and site conditions. Solid knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and scheduling. Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up, or similar) and presentation tools. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience working on residential, commercial, hospitality, or leisure projects, ideally within the Dubai or GCC market. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
