Role Description This is a part-time, hybrid HR Manager role based in Abu Dhabi, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. The HR Manager will oversee the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience for all team members. This role will manage HR policies and procedures, support compliance with local labor regulations, and maintain accurate HR records and documentation. The HR Manager will advise leadership on organizational structure, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives to support a collaborative and high-performing culture. Daily activities will also include managing payroll inputs, benefits administration, training coordination, and serving as a trusted point of contact for HR-related questions. Qualifications Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar HR leadership role, ideally within technology, venture capital, or a fast-paced international environment. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and employment regulations applicable in Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE region. Demonstrated skills in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and performance management, with a focus on fair, inclusive, and objective processes. Ability to design and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that support organizational growth and a positive employee experience. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and cultures. High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information. Comfort with digital tools and HR systems; proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace and familiarity with HRIS platforms. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, HRCI) are an advantage. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle part-time responsibilities across multiple priorities in a hybrid work setting. Professional fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
