Roles & Responsibilities

• Scaffolding Assembly and Dismantling Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures such as tube and coupler, system, and mobile scaffolds according to design specifications.

• Ensure proper bracing, tying, and stability of the scaffold at all times. Follow layout drawings and supervisor instructions during erection and dismantling. Tag scaffolds appropriately (Green – Safe for Use / Red – Not Safe for Use) Inspection and Safety Compliance.

• Conduct visual checks before, during, and after scaffold erection to ensure safety and stability.

• Report any unsafe condition or damage to the immediate supervisor.

• Ensure full compliance with site safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health System Framework (OSHAD).

• Use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.

Material Handling

• Load, unload, and organize scaffolding materials safely at worksite and storage areas.

• Inspect materials (tubes, boards, couplers) for damage or defects before use.

• Maintain inventory control and ensure materials are returned properly after dismantling. Coordination and Communication

• Work under the supervision of the Scaffolding Supervisor or Foreman.

• Coordinate with other trades to ensure safe access and work sequencing.

• Follow site instructions and maintain good communication with team members.

Documentation and Housekeeping

• Assist in maintaining scaffold register and tagging records.

• Keep the work area clean and organized after completion of work.

• Basic understanding of Hindi and/or English, with the ability to follow instructions clearly.

• Medically fit and able to work at heights, confined space including carrying and handling scaffolding materials.

HSE Liner:

• To be proactive in creating a safe working environment for everyone and ensuring that HSE in-house rules are observed at all times.

• To consider HSE aspects when planning and carrying out tasks to eliminate and reduce HSE hazards, aspects and risks.

• Demonstrates proper use of fall protection, PPE, and adherence to general site safety rules.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial scaffolding (Oil & Gas / Power Plant/ Petrochemical sites within GCC countries).

• Basic understanding of Hindi and/or English, with the ability to follow instructions clearly.

• Must pass site safety induction and medical fitness test.

• Willing to work outdoors under hot weather conditions.

• Committed to safety and following company rules and regulations.
