Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Fruits & Vegetables section.
Ensure all products are fresh, properly displayed, and available for sale.
Monitor product quality and remove damaged or expired items immediately.
Implement FIFO (First In First Out) stock rotation procedures.
Coordinate with the warehouse and purchasing team for timely replenishment.
Maintain attractive merchandising and promotional displays.
Achieve sales, margin, and shrinkage control targets.
Train, guide, and supervise section staff and helpers.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
Conduct daily stock checks and assist in inventory counting.
Prepare reports related to sales, wastage, and stock movement.
Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE food safety regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Horticulture or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in produce retail or grocery management.
- Proven ability to manage inventory, control waste, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Strong understanding of fruit and vegetable seasonality, ripeness, and handling best practices.
