Freelance Fashion Photographer

Company: WOW Fashions

Location: Sharjah, UAE, with occasional shoots in Ajman and Dubai

Job Type: Freelance / Part-Time

Schedule: 2 days per week, approximately 8 hours per day

Compensation: AED 150–200 per day

About the Role

WOW Fashions is looking for a talented freelance photographer to create premium visual content for our Arab ethnic wear collections. The photographer will work closely with our creative and marketing teams to produce high-quality images for ecommerce, social media, advertising campaigns, and other brand materials.

Our collections include Jalabiyas, Mukhawar, Soube, Maghribi dresses, Kaftans, Abayas, fabrics, and customised ethnic wear.

Key Responsibilities

• Photograph models wearing WOW Fashions collections.
• Capture ecommerce product images, campaign photographs, lifestyle content, and close-up detail shots.
• Photograph garments, fabrics, embroidery, embellishments, and accessories accurately.
• Maintain consistent lighting, framing, colours, and image quality across all shoots.
• Direct models and suggest suitable poses for each outfit.
• Set up and manage cameras, lenses, lighting, backgrounds, and other photography equipment.
• Work according to approved mood boards, shot lists, and brand guidelines.
• Select and edit final images while maintaining natural skin tones and accurate garment colours.
• Deliver edited photographs within agreed timelines.
• Organise and safely store all image files after each shoot.
• Collaborate with the social media, ecommerce, and creative teams.

Skills

Requirements

• Proven experience in fashion, ecommerce, product, or model photography.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality photography work.
• Good knowledge of studio lighting, camera settings, composition, and colour accuracy.
• Ability to photograph embroidery, fabrics, and fine garment details clearly.
• Experience directing models during fashion shoots.
• Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar editing software.
• Ability to work independently and follow creative direction.
• Reliable, punctual, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
• Experience photographing Arab ethnic wear or modest fashion is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating content for Instagram, websites, advertisements, and ecommerce platforms.
• Basic knowledge of short-form video or reel production is an advantage.
• Familiarity with both studio and outdoor fashion photography.
• Understanding of premium and luxury fashion presentation.
