Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking forward to Senior Sales Manager (EMEA) - Power Solutions Group, Trident Techlabs LLC FZ based in Dubai (UAE).

In this role candidate will be responsible for professionally representing Trident's portfolio of software and hardware products with a focus on the Electrical Power Sector in your designated region i.e. Middle-East, Africa and Europe. Core activities for the role includes leading the sales team towards establishing a market presence for our various products/services and identifying other solutions, fostering relationships with internal Trident's account teams, partnering with consultancy companies to leverage their selling scale, providing pre-sales architecture and technical assistance to partners and customers in the region and managing business opportunities from identification to close.

Important responsibilities:

  • Identify and establish market and industry relationships to drive Trident's software/services more broadly in the region.

  • Lead the discussions with customers from the technical user levels to closure of business deals.

  • Conduct software webinars, training and demo sessions to educate and inform market or customer audiences.

  • Assist prospective customers with architecture and integration details as part of the pre-sales efforts to close software business opportunities. This includes responses to RFP process required as part of sales opportunities.

  • Build relationships with engineering consultancy companies to provide technical and sales support

  • Possess a strong understanding of value and benefits of the offering for conversations with end customer.

  • Manage and track pipeline activity

  • Create, develop and execute sub segment business and marketing plans in conjunction with marketing resources.

  • Proactively position and promote upsell opportunities to the existing client base for licenses and services to grow the software and related services footprint with existing customers.

  • Sustain good working relationships with end customers to assure annual renewals of subscription license fees and/or recurring annual support and maintenance agreements.

  • Contribute to the creation of technical and sales collateral for marketing and driving general market awareness of the solution

  • Provide competitive market analysis and intelligence to feed the commercial programs of Trident

  • Advise of product features and requirements needed to exceed market offerings from competitors to help position Trident's portfolio of software as uniquely capable of meeting advanced end customer use cases.

  • Possess strong understanding of Trident's customized software solutions with focus on Cyme Software

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM field, electrical engineering preferred

  • 7+ Years of experience of working in the Middle-East, with excellent connections in the electrical power sector, especially the middle-rung and top-rung management of•potential client organizations like electrical power utilities, engineering consultants, electrical contractors, manufacturing industry and large facilities

  • Deep domain - Electrical power systems

  • Consultative, software selling experience to executive and technical buyers in the power industry, especially utilities, developing and translating business use cases to solution requirements and architecture documentation.

  • Understanding of Business Processes of various types of clients

  • Proficiency in communicating in Arabic
