The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, removal, and reinstallation of vehicle hardware and associated peripherals in the field. Hardware installation is the primary function of this role, carried out in strict accordance with approved documentation and established best practices. All work is expected to be completed autonomously, to a standard that passes quality control inspection, preserves the integrity of existing vehicle electrical systems, and is delivered right-first-time without the need for rework.
The Service Technician represents the company on-site and is accountable for technical quality, operational discipline, and professional conduct throughout every job.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements & Qualifications
Background in automotive electrical systems is required, including experience installing GPS units, cameras, or other aftermarket vehicle accessories.
Strong hands-on technical aptitude with wiring, cabling, and hardware diagnostics
Working knowledge of multimeters and diagnostic/troubleshooting tools is required
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
